Purpose of Role
Exciting and career-advancing opportunity for an analytical, critical thinking, and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join a high-performing, happy and fun team at nShift!

- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer
- Hands-on experience in implementing and improving automation/scripting for infrastructure, containers, systems and applications team being located in Romania. Consequently, the maintenance and the resolution of issues are part of the team's responsibility.
Overall responsabilities
Your main responsibilities will be maintaining a high degree of automation, working with the QA Team in identifying candidates for automation, and keeping our automation suite updated based on customer incidents and feedback.
The Production and QA nShift Central Carrier platforms are the main priority for this position, the majority of the team being located in Romania. Consequently, the maintenance and the resolution of issues are part of the team's responsibility.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining and expanding test automation frameworks for complex multi-tier software systems, front-end through back-end, as well as testing SOAP and REST APIs
- Advanced software development knowledge with at least 1 year of experience in Python
- A minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing
- Good understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes
- Experience with SQL, ability to write and run SQL queries
- Experience with Linux, preferably Ubuntu
- Mandatory 2 years of experience using Postman
- Experience with AWS management and CI pipelines is a distinct advantage
- Hands-on experience in implementing and improving automation/scripting for infrastructure, containers, systems and applications is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
