Revenue Tech & AI Lead
AI. Automation. Full ownership. This role hands you the keys and asks: What should this look like?

Our software is used by many of the world leading e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, and 3PL shippers due to us having over 1000 carriers integrated into our platform, nearly 3 times more than our competitors!
If you buy goods online, there is a strong chance that nShift has powered that delivery, so come and join us as we shape the future of shipping, one frictionless journey at a time.
Purpose of the role
We’re building something new. As Revenue Technology & AI Lead, you will own nShift’s commercial technology stack and drive how our Revenue Operations function works - making it faster, leaner, and more intelligent. This is a hands-on role for someone who thinks in systems, moves with purpose, and knows how to turn tools and data into commercial outcomes.
You’ll walk in with a blank canvas and real backing. nShift is serious about the future of its commercial operations, and this role exists to build it. If you want to own something meaningful, move quickly, and see your work directly reflected in commercial outcomes, this is the role.
About you
You spot what's broken, figure out what to build, and ship it - without waiting for a playbook. You're as comfortable in a stakeholder meeting as you are in an API.
What drives you isn't the tech itself, but what it unlocks for the people using it. You listen before you redesign, bring teams with you rather than building around them, and know that the best solution is the one people actually use.
What you'll be doing
Own & Optimise the Tech Stack
Own and administer nShift’s core commercial tools, including Salesforce and Apollo, ensuring they are configured to support how our teams actually work
Manage and evolve integrations across the commercial ecosystem, NetSuite, HubSpot, Zendesk, Wrike, PandaDoc and others, so data flows cleanly between systems without manual intervention
Drive tool adoption, data quality, and process hygiene across the commercial organisation
Evaluate new tools with a commercial lens: onboard what adds clear value, retire what doesn’t
Automate & Improve Processes
Redesign commercial processes end-to-end, from lead capture to renewal, identifying where automation can replace manual effort and reduce risk
Design and implement workflows that improve efficiency, reduce handoff errors, and give teams more time to focus on revenue-generating activity
Establish data governance standards that make reporting trustworthy and decisions faster
Partner with Sales, Customer Management, Finance, and Marketing to align on process and remove cross-functional friction
Build AI-Powered Tools
Design and build AI agents and applications, using Claude and other frontier models, that make RevOps smarter and reduce repetitive work
Build sales and CSM-facing tools: deal coaching agents, customer prioritisation models, and at-risk account signals that help teams act on the right opportunities at the right time
Identify where AI creates the most leverage across the commercial org and build accordingly
What you will bring
Technical
You hold a Salesforce Administrator certification
Proven experience building and managing integrations between commercial SaaS tools using APIs, iPaaS platforms, or middleware
Hands-on experience with AI development: building, prompt engineering, and deploying LLM-based agents and automated workflows
Comfortable writing lightweight code or using no-/low-code platforms to ship tools quickly
Commercial & Strategic
5+ years in Revenue Systems or a commercial technology role in B2B SaaS
Deep familiarity with tools including Apollo, HubSpot, NetSuite, Zendesk, Wrike, and PandaDoc.
Strong grasp of the full revenue cycle and what good looks like across sales, CS, and finance
Able to operate with autonomy, influence without authority, and build not just for the teams you serve
Nice to Have
Familiarity with BI or analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Background in logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain technology
Experience building internal-facing AI tools for go-to-market teams
